Lee was born in Mufulira, Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia), where his father had a hardware business and factory. After working as a commercial pilot in Kenya and Botswana he started his own safari retail business in Maun, close to Botswana's world-famous Okavango Delta. The country is renowned for it's spectacular animal and bird life, so digital photography and a love of Botswana's wildlife became natural abiding passions. Lee spends much of his free time travelling around Southern Africa, camping and photographing it's birds, animals and landscapes.
